Read Colossians 3: 1-17 What was the best year of your life?  What was the worst year? Do you or did you have a favorite coat?  Why? What does it mean to be "clothed in love"? Is the person God wants you to be different from what you want to be? Describe the spiritual clothes Paul mentions. What steps can you take each morning to "put on" your spiritual clothes? What is the point of what we do and say?

I'll be driving back from Gull Lake, Minnesota on Sunday.  So as Winston Churchill said "Keep calm and Carry on!" Read 1 Corinthians 4: 6-21 What is your favorite sports team?  Why is it your fav? What would you do if confronted with another opinion of your team's weaknesses? Are you a Fan (as long as they keep winning) or a Follower (in for better or worse)? In your spiritual life who are you a fan of?  Who do you follow? As Christians what keeps us from getting along with each other? What can we do to prevent discord with fellow believers? What are topics we can agree to disagree? What are topics we should all agree?

Read John 3: 1-21 What is The Good News for you?   for your friends?   for the world? Consider who was an Influencer on your spiritual life.   How did he/she show you God's mission to you? Who are you influencing in your life?   How can you show God's mission to them? Read again John 3:16 How would you describe God's love for you to a seeker? (Hint - don't use "churchy" words.) How would you explain why God sent Jesus into the world to a seeker? How would you explain eternal life to a seeker? The world asks us the same question Nicodemus asked Jesus in John 3:9 - "How can this be?" What is your response to his question?

I'm back! Read Mark 4:35 - 5:20 Jesus calms the storm and creates a storm. You already have the tools to navigate a "storm" in your life.  God gave the tools.  How does this change your thoughts? Why did the disciples fear the storm?  What does is mean when we are fearful and doubt in a storm? When has a"storm" given you an opportunity to grow? Name some distractions which keep us from alignment with God during a "storm". Think of a storm in your life which showed you God's value system.  What does God desire for us to value?  How does this conflict with the values of the world? How do the storms of life give us freedom? What is alignment to God?
