If you could change your first name what would you choose? Read Ephesians 1: 3-14 What was one of your adolescent expressions of identity? Where, What and Who do we look to to define our identity? From these verses, make a list with two columns.  The first column is "I am....."  The second column finishes the sentence with "...because God is...." Pick three adjectives that start with the first three letters of your first name which reflect who you are because of Jesus Christ.

Who does God want to plan your days?  Why?  Will it make a difference to those in your world? Read Acts 4:32-37 To who or what are you united? How do we or can we build unity in our daily lives? Will it make a difference to those in your world? Read Luke 19: 1-10 What "jumps off the page" for you? Describe Zacchaeus.  How did the community initially react to Zacchaeus? How did Jesus react to Zacchaeus? How do you suppose the community reacted to him after Jesus spoke? How can we be more like Zacchaeus in our everyday lives?

Who was the last person you wrote a physical letter to? Have you ever been part of the "In" crowd? Read Ephesians 1: 1-3 Is there a difference between being faithful in Jesus  and faithful to Jesus? How are we faithful in Jesus? How are we faithful to Jesus? Read Revelation 2: 1-7 Describe the church in Ephesus. What would be a current day example of the church losing its "first love"? What did John compliment the Ephesian church for? What was John critical of the Ephesian church? How can we keep our "first love"?
