Do you like surprises?  Why or why not? Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16: 1-11, Luke 24: 1-12, John 20: 1-18 What did the women expect to find at the tomb? Describe their surprise. Do you have expectations for life?  What are they, if so? When have your expectations been surpassed? Do your expectations affect your experience of surprise? How can we live without the limit of our expectation but with limitless expectation of God's way of life?

Matthew 21: 1-12; Mark 11:1-10, Luke 19:29-34, John 12: 12-15 What was your favorite parade?  Were you in it or watching it? What is the purpose of our parades? What was Jesus' purpose for His parade-like arrival in Jerusalem? Why did the crowd "turn on" Jesus just a few days later? What are the key points of this point in history?

Luke 22: 24-30 Who is your favorite leader, coach or boss?  Why? How have you imitated that leader? Judges 3: 7-11 Ever heard of Othniel? "The Spirit came upon..."  What does this phrase make you think of? Have you had a similar experience? John 14: 15-17 How is the Holy Spirit described?  What is the Spirit's role, purpose, character?
