I'll be returning from Oklahoma Sunday morning but will be at the Sunday evening meal.

Read 1 Corinthians 11:17-32

Was there a time you tried to improve on a tradition?  Why did you want to improve it?  How did it work?

What was Paul most concerned about with regard to the  Corinthians' practice of the Lord's Supper?

Can we add anything to God's plans?

How does competition affect the church body?

What motivates competition, even within the church family?

How does criticism affect the church body?

What motivates criticism?

What is the purpose of the Lord's Supper?

Why is it so centrally important?

How can we each keep the Lord's Supper fresh and focused on God's plan?

Dick has a preaching gig in Waverly, KS this week.  So I'll be driving him to Waverly. Spend the time in the Cafe.  I'll give you some thoughts to ponder and/or you can pray for people as you see them.  Feel free to invite them to join us next week.
